What Customers Say About Bamboo Fun (Medium) Black Tablet with Pen, Mouse & Graphics Software:

The large tablet is way too big unless you have hands the size of a gorilla. That would limit your drawing space to the size of the tablet. Definitely get the small or Medium, but probably the medium because it is one you can "grow into" if your a beginner. I decided to get the Bamboo Fun because it was good for beginners and pros. I love this thing. GET IT NOW, you need it. But that was NOT the case at all. My initial confusion was that the tablet was like paper in that, where you drew on the tablet, you could not draw over.
It is pressure sensitive which is cool, so you can do calligraphy, draw thick or fine lines, and signatures without having to change the point size. So the large tablet becomes quite the workout trying to move your hand all over. After I read all the reviews on all the different types of tablets, by Wacom and others. The Bamboo Fun Tablet allows you to zoom in/out, adjust, everything the same as you do on your computer.but it responds like drawing on paper, so you can get more organic drawings and effects. The tablet matches the screen, meaning if your start menu button is in the lower lefthand corner, you will touch the tablet in the same location. Although the tablet may be smaller, you can draw large pictures. Also, precision that you will never achieve with a mouse.Anyway, Your going to love it. I would get it here on Amazon.com, it is about $40 cheaper than anywhere else.
An improvement over the icky dull beige of years past.Once you get the hang of a tablet it's hard to go back. This one is SO much better than my old wacom tablet. Love the black color too. If you're in the arts you can't be without one. Using a mouse is like drawing with a stone.
If you are getting in to the digital painting world this is you best option to start. The price is awesome and it's the best choice. I'm very happy with my tablet. I made a great choice buying this piece of hardware.
I've only been using the Bamboo Fun medium tablet for a few weeks now, but so far, so good. I use it mostly to take handwritten notes as I prepare for meetings, and to illustrate ideas and concepts to clients (rather than using paper or a dry erase board). I love the pen, ability to customize the buttons, and variety of tools that come with the tablet.
This is a must have for up and coming digital artist, I just don't see how I went so long without one
